Pre-K Program (4 – 5 Years)
Highland Day School’s Pre-K Program is designed to prepare children for a successful transition into kindergarten and beyond.
At this stage, children are eager to learn, ask questions, and take on new challenges.
Our program provides a structured, engaging, and nurturing environment where students grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. As part of our continued mission through Highland Children’s Ministry, we are committed to offering a safe and loving space where children are encouraged to reach their full potential while developing strong character and faith-based values.
Social & Emotional Development
Pre-K is an important time for developing independence and leadership skills. We encourage children to:
- Work cooperatively in groups
- Build positive friendships
- Practice responsibility and self-control
- Develop confidence in speaking and sharing ideas
Our teachers provide gentle guidance and consistent structure to help children feel secure while growing in maturity and independence.
We will love and nurture each student as they are masterpieces created by God.
Play will be a central part of each day. We will provide opportunities for our students to learn naturally in a comfortable safe environment.
Each student will learn the academic and social skills they need to be successful in their academic career and throughout life.
