Infant
Infant Program (8 Weeks – 12 Months)
At Highland Day School, our Infant Program provides a nurturing and peaceful environment where your baby can grow, explore, and feel secure.
Serving children from 8 weeks through 12 months of age, we focus on creating a strong foundation of trust, comfort, and early development during these precious first months of life.
As a licensed school, Highland Day School continues the mission of Highland Children’s Ministry by offering a safe, loving space where every child is valued and cared for. We understand that leaving your infant in someone else’s care is a big step. Our dedicated caregivers build close, responsive relationships with each baby, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and deeply loved each day.
Early Learning & Development
Even in the earliest months, children are constantly learning. Our program gently encourages development through:
- Tummy time and movement activities to build strength and coordination
- Sensory exploration with age-appropriate materials
- Music, singing, and simple language interactions
- Story time and early literacy exposure
- Social interaction in a calm and supportive setting
Every interaction is intentional, helping infants develop cognitive, emotional, physical, and social skills at their own pace.
We will love and nurture each student as they are masterpieces created by God.
Play will be a central part of each day. We will provide opportunities for our students to learn naturally in a comfortable safe environment.
Each student will learn the academic and social skills they need to be successful in their academic career and throughout life.
